Отключение Boot Splash (rhgb) в Centos

Для того чтобы отключить загрузочную анимацию и получить больше информации в ходе загрузки ОС нужно:

vim /etc/grub.conf

title CentOS Linux (2.6.32-71.29.1.el6.x86_64)

  root (hd0,0)

  kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.32-71.29.1.el6.x86_64 ro root=UUID=c209fbd2-0738-4672-b225-6a5c09f65ad2 rd_NO_LUKS rd_NO_LVM rd_NO_MD rd_NO_DM LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 KEYBOARDTYPE=pc  KEYTABLE=us crashkernel=auto rhgb quiet

  initrd /initramfs-2.6.32-71.29.1.el6.x86_64.img

и удать следующее:

rhgb = redhat graphical boot – This is a GUI mode booting screen with most of the information hidden while the user sees a rotating activity icon spining and brief information as to what the computer is doing.

quiet = hides the majority of boot messages before rhgb starts. These are supposed to make the common user more comfortable. They get alarmed about seeing the kernel and initializing messages, so they hide them for their comfort.
